Tour to the traditional Perito Moreno Glacier (May to September)

The tour begins at approximately 9:00 a.m. from the hotels located in Calafate, from where we head towards the majestic Los Glaciares National Park, located about 80 kilometers away. Our main destination is the imposing Perito Moreno glacier, a natural wonder that dazzles with its beauty and unique behavior. The excellent location of the glacier in front of the Magellan Peninsula makes it an accessible place to contemplate its grandeur and the fascinating natural phenomena that surround it. During this full-day excursion, accompanied by a specialized bilingual guide, we will explore the history and particularities of this spectacular glacier. Departing from your hotel in comfortable vehicles, we will travel along provincial route 11 until we reach the balconies, located about 4 kilometers from the glacier. Once there, we will have free time to explore the different circuits within the forest at our own pace that offer impressive panoramic views of the glacier and its falls. In addition, we can enjoy lunch in the food court and choose to take an optional one-hour nautical tour to get even closer to the imposing ice wall. This excursion is ideal for spending a day with the family in direct contact with nature, without requiring great physical effort. We offer a traditional and complete experience to start your visit to Los Glaciares National Park. Around 3:30 p.m., we will begin our return to Calafate, giving each passenger the possibility of choosing between returning directly to their hotel or continuing to explore the center of Calafate.
